My name is Chris Gorsuch,

I am a solo musician from Melbourne, Australia, currently recording my first full length Studio album which is being produced by the talented Mike Trubetskov of EOL Studios.

I have performed and collaborated as a vocalist and guitarist with a number of different bands over the past 10 years.

​

In 2012 I experienced some medical issues which in turn lead me to quitting music and suffering through a dark battle with depression,

It was during this time that I began writing my own solo material as an outlet to try and expel some of the strong feelings of sadness and hate which consumed me throughout every waking moment of my life.

Every night I would go to bed thinking about suicide. This was a comforting thought for me because in my head, at least I knew there was a way out.

The first song I wrote was titled "My Own Personal Hell".

I began receiving positive feedback along with messages from people asking me if I was okay. To this day I am thankful for that.

From here, I began writing more music with no real goal other than to express myself through the art form I love so much.

In the years to follow, I wrote a number songs and overtime, learned to manage my depression.

It was at this point that I decided to try and make something of this.

​

I wrote more material with the goal of someday releasing my music to the world.

Working with Mike Trubetskov of EOL Studios has taken my music to levels beyond what I ever imagined it could be and I am truly excited to share the final product.

​

I now try to look at all of those negative experiences as a positive.

Without the emotional pain I endured, I would not have had the drive to achieve everything that have today.
